We have tested all of these places and came up with our top 5 lists.  These are ranked in the order of best is number 1.

Do you agree?

Number 1 - Ed's Real Scoop

They make their own ice cream on site and they have 3 locations.  Roncesvalles, Leslieville and The Beach.  You have to try their burnt marshmallow ice cream!

Number 2 - Bang Bang Ice Cream

This shop is located on the Ossington strip and usually has a long line up.  You can get everything from ice cream to ice cream sandwiches.  They have some really cool flavours that are surprisingly good like Taro, Burnt Toffee and London Fog.

Number 3 - Dutch Dreams

This shop has been around for 25 years and was featured in the movie Half Baked with Dave Chappelle.  They have over 60 flavours to choose from!  Try their m&m waffle cones!

Number 4 - Greg's Ice Cream

Now with 2 locations in the Annex and Distillery District, you can get Greg's ice cream on both sides of the city!  They have been around since the 80's and is still going strong.  I would suggest trying the Roasted Marshmallow, Grape Nut, and Stout ice creams.

Number 5 - Sweet Olenka's

This ice cream shop is found in Kensington Market.  I know there are 2 other locations but I tested the ice cream in the Market.  They have ice cream bars, ice cream sandwiches, and scratch-made ice creams.  Give the maple bacon with cinnamon crunch a try!
